Bespoke Timber Shopfront on Brecknock Road, London N7
In the heart of Brecknock Road, nestled between long-standing cafés and high-street eateries, sits this subtly modernised retail unit. The clean, contemporary frontage you see here is the result of a full timber shopfront commission, handcrafted and supplied by our London-based joinery workshop.
This project is a perfect example of how high-quality joinery can elevate a high street space. Though modest in size, this installation demanded absolute precision—from sightlines and symmetry to the careful pairing of heritage character with modern commercial usability. Our client wanted a refresh that would feel upmarket without overpowering the neighbouring façades. The solution: a clean-lined, timber-framed shopfront painted in soft slate grey, seamlessly integrating large display glazing with well-proportioned mullions and a sleek entranceway.
Engineered for Performance and Longevity
We manufactured the entire frontage from engineered timber for maximum stability and longevity. The result is an understated façade that quietly communicates quality—timber windows and doors with generous glazed panels, delivering natural light and visibility into the studio space without compromising privacy or thermal performance.

Crafted for London
The design nods to classic London shopfront architecture while updating it for a 21st-century audience. From the subtle panelling beneath the windows to the deep glazing bars, each element was considered, crafted, and assembled by our skilled team before being fitted on-site.
How it Looked Before:

A Timeless Presence
This frontage doesn't shout—but it certainly speaks. It speaks of precision joinery, refined detailing, and a quiet confidence that sets the tone for what lies within. It's exactly the kind of transformation we love to be part of—where craftsmanship meets functionality in a way that enhances the entire street.
