Timber Shopfronts Crafted for London
Simple, Durbale, and Built to Last
Our timber shopfronts are made to suit a range of properties across London—from traditional high street units to independent cafés and studios. Designed with clean, functional lines and strong, straightforward construction, each shopfront is built to deliver lasting quality with minimal fuss.
We work primarily in hardwood, with sapele and European oak being the most common choices. Sapele offers excellent stability and is ideal for painted finishes, making it a popular option for high-traffic commercial use. Oak, when left exposed or lightly stained, provides a natural, refined look and is often chosen for more traditional façades. All timbers are properly seasoned and joinery-grade for dependable performance.
Joinery and Finishing Options
We use traditional mortise and tenon construction, with housed joints where needed for additional strength and clean visual lines. Shopfronts can be supplied fully primed or finished in durable microporous paint or clear oils, depending on the chosen timber and desired appearance. All finishes are breathable and weather-resistant, suitable for long-term use with regular maintenance.
Glass, Security & Compliance
Our shopfronts are fitted with toughened or laminated safety glass as standard, in line with Building Regulations Part N and Part Q. Double-glazing is available for improved thermal performance. We also provide options for integrated signage panels, access doors, and secure ironmongery as part of the full package.
